BIGTRUCK Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 This is kind of an odd kit I bought awhile back and figured now is a good time to start this one. Its an Aoshima 1/24 th kit# 008300. Cooking area is pretty detailed, actually the entire kit is really detailed. The 2 tires are a comparison to show how small the truck is. The 1/24 tire on the left is a kit tire and a 1/25 car tire on the right. Part count is pretty good, decals good and a really big clear tree of parts and a driver .Aoshima also offers this kit as a mobile video game truck. This is a flash free crisp kit.
cobraman Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Now that is different . Looks like it could be fun.
Spottedlaurel Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Excellent! I look forward to seeing it progress. I believe there are others in the series, I have this one:
Tom Geiger Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 It’s a cool little truck! There are two different series of this kit. I have several from the earlier series.

BIGTRUCK Posted August 27, 2020 Author Posted August 27, 2020 Tom...you must get that one done. Its almost there.
BIGTRUCK Posted August 28, 2020 Author Posted August 28, 2020 Getting some of the signs and decals mounted. With the use of Micro sol and Micro set decal solution, the curved edges and grooved surface areas came out great. Color choice , Tamiya Aqua. Most of the detail work will be in the back cooking area.

I am going to build one of the go carts to ride on it. 4 hours ago, BIGTRUCK said: Getting some of the signs and decals mounted. doorsovdoon Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Sweet little vans. These were popular in the UK as Bedford Rascals! I used to drive one for a stone masons many years ago.
BIGTRUCK Posted August 30, 2020 Author Posted August 30, 2020 Still have decals to put on, interior done, food prep aerea 90% done, most of the add ons are done just need to install. Next big step there are a bunch og flags to paint up and byes that means more decals?
kelson Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Very cool!, i think the back cab would look good on any of the Moebuis trucks that have come out the last couple years.

It’s extremely small, way too little for a Ford truck. It may make for an interesting trailer though.

hct728(Bob) Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Very neatly done so far! I like the choice of colour, sets off the decals nicely! I have two similar kits, as I buy them whenever I see them, but really want the one with the fish on top(picture courtesy of Scalemates)! Keep up the good work! Bob

peteski Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Are those waterslide decals or peel-n-stick stickers?
David G. Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 What a fun little project! I'm actually a little surprised at the amount of detail provided. What you've done so far looks great Your color choice is perfect. David G.
