JollySipper Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Hey, guys.... I've got another project I've been thinking about lately. I'm wanting to build a 'shoebox' Ford coupe in Tamiya's TS-59 "light red pearl"...... Would any of you happen to have a model painted with this paint? The reason I ask is I'll need another color to do the interior and I'm not sure what to use.... I'm thinking gray and white would look good for the inside. So let's see those rosey pink cars and the color chosen to pair with it, please...... Thanks!
RichCostello Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 I haven't painted a model with it yet, but I did paint a plastic spoon. Over Tamiya gray primer it looks(to me) a lot like the pinkish color that was used on a lot of 57 Chevys. I think it was called Dusk Rose, or something like that. A gray/white interior would look good. I'm saving it for my Revell 57 Chevy sedan that will have a white top.
shoopdog Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Here's one I did with a white primer and a grey and black interior. Sorry no interior shots.
JollySipper Posted September 4, 2020 Author Posted September 4, 2020 Thanks, Guys.... Keith, that looks really good! I think this color will look right at home on my little mild custom build......
JollySipper Posted September 4, 2020 Author Posted September 4, 2020 Thanks, Greg! Those posts just cemented my color choice for this project.........
