Sitting in my drawer of shame for now Then dig it out. Here you can get a better set than the kit decals: https://www.mikesdecals.com/coors-bill-elliott-1984-powerslide-p-3479.html It contains decals to make his 1984, 1985 or 1986 cars.
slusher Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Looking great so far! What are you using for roll bar padding may I ask?

wrenchr Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Yah dig it out!! Been working on one a little this week and about to get back at it. Narrowed the fenders on mine to look more like the speedway car.
THarrison351 Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 That looks great so far. That wheel and tire you're using is only for mock up, right? That stencil and those style wheels are from a later time period. The best wheels are the 9-hole Bassets in the Monogram GM kits from the eighties.

Yup, the whole chassis is an old Ford buildup I now use for mockup.

MININORTHFORDMAN Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 looks great! one of favorite 80s nascars on my build list
