michelle Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 this is my final car model for the year it took me a 3 month to make this model from modding the body and other parts parts also moding the figure to have the interior pan to fit in the body of the car took 3 days alone to sand and reshape i made the vinyl roof with painters tape that i painted flat black yes this is from the classic five-0 series and the figure is supose to be jack lord's steve mcgarrett and i added a car phone radio as well as the police cb radio since in several late seasons episodes mcgarrett's merc sometimes had it and the cb and sometimes just the phone and then just back to having the cb radio the engine is a revell 351 ford engine from a 76 torino kit and i drilled a whole in the oil pan so the axel rod for the front wheels could go through it
Cpt Tuttle Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Did you make it from an AMT 1970 Ford kit?

Bob Ellis Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 You picked a difficult subject. I have been mulling over building a 1969 Mercury Marquis, but not sure how to go about it. I suspect that a 1970 Galaxie is the route to go.

gbtr6 Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 I wonder if you could do a Mercury Marauder from that kit. Those are cool. Perry
