1st 700 Quad Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Greets; Does anyone do a resin 1950 (or so) Chevrolet Panel truck, stock, that could be used with the AMT 1950 Chevrolet Pick-up? I have so many ideas and pictures of trucks I'd like to build using this as a base. In fact any panel truck resin is hard to find.
Steamboat Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 You might be able to start with a Gravedigger kit.
Tom Geiger Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 RMR lists a 1950 Suburban, same body but with windows..

Jim B Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Here is the Star Models 1950 Panel delivery that I purchased a couple of years ago. Ill build it one of these days.

The original resin caster had something happen (I'll just say not good), nice to see it's available again. The interior part is hardly accurate, it's just the box floor with a quick extension, the tubs are totally inaccurate.

I've contacted Star and it's not currently available as are all of the panel trucks he has on his list. Hendrix, as was stated, lists everything that has ever been made in resin. Most is no longer available. Steve

maxwell48098 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Seems like good minds think alike when it comes to Chevy panel Civil Defense unit. I made mine a 4X4. A.J.
misterNNL Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 There (are?) Some diecast ones available of the that body type. I can't testify as to the accuracy of the scale. These were sold with several retailers logos like Pro Hardware and even Schwans ice home delivery.

Casey Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 I swear All American Resin did a '50 Chevy Panel Truck, but maybe not. Perhaps a perusal of Rocketfin would turn up some possibilities. Perhaps Herb Deeks and/or Ron Cash made one?
paul alflen Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Yes, Casey , All American Models (Art Anderson) did this resin body! I picked one up in the 90's from the Toledo show from him.
