This car was run a few races in 72 with a 429 wedge head instead of a boss 429.Johan body roll cage and wheels on a 90’s TBird chassis. Engine from a Revell 70 Torino Cobra. Decals by Ace decals. Front wheel wells radiused and flared.Resin hood. Dry sump oil pan and tank by Gerald Smith.

A stunning build!  I'm curious what those Florescent Red decals were for on the nose, front bumper and hood of the car.  Were the one's on the front bumper indicating a jack-position for getting the front end of the car up off the ground?

I honestly have no idea unless they maybe had two cars entered. Made one distinctive looking?? I’m not sure but it looked cool.

Hi Tim, I am not familiar with the real car, but that is a stunning model. Love the  colours and the paint scheme, they really show off the lines of the car. Excellent job.
