Revell Porsche GT 1 EVO

Just started this kit . Way out of my comfort zone and have never built much of this type of model . Body primed in white and some sub assemblies done . The decals should be fun . I got this kit in a lot of 7 kits I purchased so thought I would give it a go . Anyone here built this kit ?

I built this kit about 15 years ago and it can be a nice model, but I had lots of problems getting the rear body/engine cover to fit.  Rather than trying to wrestle it into place, I just glued it shut and built it as a curbside.

Not happy to hear that about the rear cover. That's where all the detail is. Hate to not have it removable.

Maybe yours will fit better than mine did.  If not, you can always display the model with the cover off.

i did make some markup on mine, the rear lid works and fit fine, hope yours do too...

It's a fantastic subject, how is build up nicely... When mocked up, does the cowel fit well?

This kit was put box in the box for awhile. Having issues with the exhaust pipes and turbos. I will tackle it when the mood hits.
