TooOld Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Great looking Falcons everybody ! I've got a '69 next on my bench in 2021 .
Koellefornia Kid Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Built this ´61 Ranchero years ago as a test for home printed decals 1
espo Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 This is the only Falcon I have done in years. While the body is pretty good the chassis and the engine, not so much. The paint is Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green body with Testors #1845 Mystic Emerald and TS-13 Clear. The flame decals are from a Revell '56 Nomad kit. I used '57 Ford Hub Caps and some steal wheels with parts box big and littles.
falcon wagon Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I have a few Falcons I built over the years all from old build ups , and one real one 1
afx Posted December 21, 2020 Author Posted December 21, 2020 I see now why Falcon kits/built-ups are hard to find, Carl bought them all!

Tom Geiger Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 I just came across this photo of some of the Falcon old built ups in my stash. I did restore the primer gray Ranchero from an original Craftsman kit 1

TransAmMike Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 All Great looking Falcons, the drag/hot rod cars my favorites tho.
afx Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 Bought this '62 with the intention of restoring but might leave it as is. 1
doorsovdoon Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I love these old Falcons, nothing over the top about them but they always look good in any form, whether it be a base stock run-around or a full on gasser.
Geno Posted December 24, 2020 Posted December 24, 2020 Plenty of great models here, I really love all the gassers.?
unclescott58 Posted December 24, 2020 Posted December 24, 2020 Falcon? I have a couple I can share. Beside the four shown here, I also have a '60 promo I rescued and restored, hidden away where it's not all that accessible. 2

I completely agree, such a cool platform to build on...whether a real deal one or in scale. So many great builds here, love seeing them all. The only two I've built so far. This one I hope to restore/rebuild some day. It was my dad's that he built sometime back in the late 60's early 70's I believe. Its missing the left rear slick but otherwise seems complete. 2
doorsovdoon Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Lovely. The Daddy Warbucks is super cool, I like that! The only Falcons I can find in the UK is the Ranchero by Trumpeter, it's pretty boxy. I've seen builds of them though and it's one on my to-do list for sure.
Yahshu Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 (edited) All fantastic builds. Here's mine, I might get them finished one day. Edited December 28, 2020 by Yahshu 1
