64 Chevy C10

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Now that the family dinner is done, I can post my 64 Chevy that I finished yesterday. Mostly box stock but with plug wires and wheels and tires from Pegasus. I lowered the truck a bit to get rid of the high stance. The wood bed is tape from Michaels crafts. Paint is Tamiya TS 60 pearl green, with Testors tan interior and dark brown floor. I left the spare tire off because it’s ugly as heck lol. A few fit issues to deal with, and a surprising amount of flash and lines to deal with. Not the best Revell kit ever, but it looks good. The hood is a major hassle and hard to get right. I wasn’t able to, but I got close. Front windshield is a poor fitting unit. Trim the bottom too so your interior fits better FYI. All in all a fun build, thanks for looking and all comments welcome as usual!

Beautiful C10.  Just a few subtle changes from box-stock, but enough to make it eye-appealing. Very nice job.

Great looking pick up. The shade of green is close to some OEM colors of the day.  I'll have to look for that tape the next time I'm in Michael's, it looks real good here.

Thanks guys, yes the tape works great, try it! I couldn’t figure out a paint color and I saw this and it just jumped out at me. ?

That’s a fine looking Chevy. The wheel choice, color and finish are eye grabbers. That tape used on the bed seems to have done the trick, too.
