Finished my last build of 2020 in June.  Then decided to try my hand at building guitars, as I had inherited a storage locker full of stuff.  Never had even really played one but I figured if I can build a model car I can build a guitar.

Here's my eight. And a couple of my guitars ?

Very nice builds and guitars and the green Shelby is awesome.  ?  My son has taught himself how to play guitar and he got me a cowbell for Christmas since he knows I have no coordination and can’t remember the words to songs much less be able to play an instrument so he figures I could handle that at least which is probably true.  Despite my lack of musical skills I have sung dozens of songs that match my vocal range and the cowbell will come in handy when my manager gets the fever for more cowbell. ?

My favorites to sing are:  Under the Bridge, Born to be Wild,  Dirty Deeds, Light my Fire, Rebel Yell and of course Don’t fear the Reaper which he can play the solo part which is pretty hard to learn and play.  I’ll stick to the model cars though for now until the band I sang with is allowed to play again after the COVID restrictions end sometime in 2021.

Niiiice!  The guitar is beautiful, a credit to you.  I would be perfectly happy to caretake the Hemi Under Glass and the Orange Crate!

Cheers

Alan

Thanks!  However, considering what PITA build the Orange Crate was I think I'll keep it ?

Thanks!  It's definitely one of my favorites.  As for the guitars - it was something I would have never dreamed I would have been doing, but I love building stuff so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Great looking group of builds. I like the paint and clean trim details on all of them. The guitars are something I'm noticing more and more builders are playing with. I like your '48 Chevy build. I did one this year also and I have come to really like that kit so I'm already looking for one for 2021.
