Spray booth filters

For those of you who have the Pace 24" spray booth where are you getting your 12 x 24 filters? Seems to me that the 12x24 size is almost obsolete? Might start using the 14x24 since they are way more available.

I get the pleated type at Walmart and sometimes Ace Hardware has a bogo on them.  Ace will also order the size you need.

Home Depot has some filters that can be cut to size. I'm sure others carry similar products also. I think they are intended for heater air returns but work well and are inexpensive.

I use a 16X20 fan filter from Home Depot for my home built paintbooth.  They come in a 3-pack and cost under $10.

I found the same issue! I went to Home Depot, and Lowe’s before getting a filter at Walmart.  It seemed they only had the more expensive ones in stock, I just attributed it to this being heating season.

Also I found out professionally that one of the major filter factories was put out of commission by hurricane in 2000. So that may be part of the shortage. 

Now that I’ve got a new $10 filter in my Pace I will continue to look around for a deal, then stock up!

Added note- just looked on eBay and you can buy a 6 or 12 pack for approx $4-5 a filter delivered.  Best deal was a dozen for $50.30  which is $4.19 each.

I finally found some @ Lowes, they are on the cheap side. Less than $5.00 for a 2 pack.

If you have a Menard’s near you I found plenty of 12x24” at $3.49 each.
