Back in 2017 I bought a 1970 Chevy C/10 resin grill on ebay from seller hoppersbazaar for $16.00 including shipping.  It is a very nice resin piece.  I just checked their ebay store and they don't have it anymore.  You can check later on.  They might sell it again.

I also plan on using the resin grill on the AMT 1972 Chevy C-10.  I am going to use the front bumper from the 1972 Chevy Blazer since the 1970 Chevy C/10 didn't have turn signals in the from bumper.

Looks like the BNL grille is cast from an original AMT '70 Blazer part.

I had access to one a few years ago and cast a couple for myself then found out that the Blazer parts are slightly wider than the pickup parts.

BUT, mine shrank a bit over the years and now fit 1/2 decent.

So, be careful when mixing parts from the Blazer and pickup. The difference in width is small but noticeable. But then again, maybe not enough to bother some builders.

I have not test fitted the parts yet.  Thanks for the "heads up" on the parts fit!

I've been watching this topic, just because I built the AMT kit, and used the resin grill.   I never laid hands on the MPC Chevy kit, so can't say with authority what the original part is.  I worked on matching the profile for the hood.  Also modified the headlights, which is a pet peeve.  Also, the real thing is aluminum, not plated chrome.

Kurt, the grille you used on your truck was a direct resin copy of the MPC grille.

Nice job on that, BTW.
