Gramps46 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 New from BBurago is this 1982 Ford Capri. And for you Capri lovers here it is with the red Welly and the white Otaki Capris.

I thought the Otaki was much smaller. if the Welly is 1/24, then the Otaki doesn't look TOO undersized for 1/25 (I think it's supposed to be 1/28). I might have to dig mine out and actually build it.
afx Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 (edited) Impatiently waiting for this kit resin to be released. Edited January 30, 2021 by afx

Snake, the white Otaki Capri shown is 1/24th scale. [ we better go warm up the snow blowers for this weekend ] Edited January 30, 2021 by Gramps46
Snake45 Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Interesting! I have an Otaki Capri and it is DEFINITELY smaller than 1/24, or even 1/25.
keyser Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 What is this snow you talk about? Entex did awful RS too. Sold it immediatelyafter I bought. Wish Tilt/Marui did one. The mk,1 is really nice. All the fun stuff Hachette is doing, Hope they do RS at some point.

keyser Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 I saw. I’m in TX so we see “snow” every 8-9 years, mostly thick sleet. I moved from snow zones 35y ago. Can’t even really visit. Miss ice racing though. Don’t miss putting cars away and driving salt catcher for 6 mos. Ugh. Hope power stays on.
swede70 Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 (edited) Neat addition and certainly a nice compliment to the recent first gen./Mark I Capri afforded us. I haven't picked up the first generation model, perhaps for being intimidated by the effort required to accurately paint the Rostyle wheels, although the availability of the late Capri at modest cost might prompt me to reconsider and gather both. Thanks... Mike K./Swede70 Edited January 31, 2021 by swede70
randyc Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Capris are pretty cool. Now you guys have to go and make me want a replica.
