Husky1943 Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Long time, no post. Anyhoo, had a wonderful Christmas leave that extended into a month since we all got the Covid. Not recommended, by the way So, I bought this 30 year old kit about five months ago and finally got around to making it. Didn't go with the "Dick Tracy" build, but Colonial Red Exterior with Aqua interior. This model might be very old, and AMT has sold it under many different boxings, but I highly recommend it. It took some filler, but it was really worth it! Pretty darn proud of this girl. I think she is very shapely and quite beautiful.
mchook Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 This is nice! 36 is one of my favorite Fords and I love that you made it stock.
kruleworld Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 (edited) very nice. despite it popularity, i don't see many of these Edited January 30, 2021 by kruleworld
BeakDoc Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Gorgeous! Hoping for your continued recovery from Covid.
NOBLNG Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Well done! You blended that roof seam in nicely. I agree that despite some fitment issues with this kit, it can be beautiful when finished.
Husky1943 Posted February 3, 2021 Author Posted February 3, 2021 Thank you all for the compliments. I think that cars of this vintage are so beautiful in stock form.
