espo Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Got to be one of the best scale Junk Yards I've ever seen done . The details on each and every model are excellent and very realistic looking.
89AKurt Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Awesome, worth a look. Someone who must never sleep, all that takes a ton of time. The air torch is a good tip. The 250 SWB deserves this treatment, the kit is terrible to begin with. This is my Out To Pasture:
ChrisBcritter Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 So how many of us have built whole junkyards? My effort from 40-odd years ago: I added more cars and got it a bit more detailed after these shots were taken. I later traded the whole thing (except the forklift) to Tom Beauchamp for some old unbuilt kits, and some of my cars were reused in the Neuchamps junkyard diorama:
Oldcarfan27 Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 (edited) I enjoyed the article, thanks for sharing JJ. I really got a kick from the writers statement... Because, we all know that no marque is immune from the ravages of bad drivers, neglected maintenance and depreciation. All those wrecked high-end exotics and overpowered muscle cars have to end up somewhere. They don't just disappear, not right away at least! I ran across this article on an exotic car junkyard. https://petrolicious.com/articles/this-sports-car-scrapyard-is-home-to-ferrari-testarossas-not-nissan-altimas Edited February 1, 2021 by Oldcarfan27
