Modlbldr Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Just finished the build of this kit for the 24 hr build-off. Built in 23 hours with 6 hours of sleep. Nice looking kit but typical old MPC- plenty of flash and poor parts placement on the instructions. Painted with Testors Fiery Orange for the body and Testors Purple-Licious for the frame. Had a blast being included in this build-off! Later- 1

It was a lot of fun to do a quick build and got a chance to meet and chat with many other great model builders on Zoom. I recommend trying it sometime. Later-

Modlbldr Posted February 1, 2021 Author Posted February 1, 2021 Thank you guys. I appreciate the kind words. Put a bit of polish on it this morning just to see if I could make it look a bit better. Can't see much difference in it. Later-

Only had one hiccup with a huge paint run along the driver's side rear fender. Had to take a little extra time to wet sand it out and start over on the paint. Later-

You never know when you will encounter an obstacle.. and more likely since you are moving fast! But like I’ve always said, it’s not how you screw it up, it’s how you recover!
