Anton! You’re killin it! And in a really good way. The splitter is perfect, love the new wheel tire combo, the hood vent is a great touch, and that stance is all attitude! Looks like it’s really coming together.

Thanks Steve! I Think it turned out great now, looks almost like a part of the super bumper which became super agressive. The tires are sligtly taller so it fitts the openings better i think. Thanks again mate!

I realy apriciate al the coments that you guys are contributing with!

I got an other idea today, I realized that the crew would have a hard time getting to the engine thanks to the fenders.. so I separated the fenders from the body and made the hood and fenders as a front clip. Might leave the front fascia as a separate piece. Thoughts?

I really like the current hood fender solution, it makes it that much more Racecar without looking Racecar when the hood is on!  I’ve been rolling through this thread and hoping to see the finished product, the build process has been a very interesting read/watch!  I love how well informed and engineered every aspect of this project is, your truck is coming together very nicely!
a little late for cannonball 2021 though, don’t ya think? ?

Looking at your building process, which is a lot like mine, this thing will be painted somewhere in 2036. Maybe...LOL I love everything about it. I hope I'm wrong and we see this monster finished soon.

Thanks! My thought exactly on the fenders. :) thanks! I build with a general ide and let the creativity change the project as I go a long and some times a new part that I found kicks my creativity :)

hehe yes I did not meet that deadline with this truck but the Supra I built I managed to make in 3 months… and not 4 years :D but I ain’t counting ;)

hahaha may be so but I hope not! :)

I actually made some progress..

some aluminum parts have been painted in their first alu coat and I have made some structural pieces for the door and " hinge". Also made a filler panel above the defusor among a ton of sanding in many places!

Made some progress, have been thinking on how I could use the original C5R oil cooler and naca ducts and I figured that I could put the naca ducts in the bed behind the cab and the cooler in more or less the original place in the frame. Also printed a second version of the pushrod coil setup, and made them to have the look as a Ölins shock.  What’s your thoughts?

Great to see another update on this - didn’t know what naca ducts were until today!

Thank you! There you go! We always learn something!
