bisc63 Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Long time lurker here, I have precious little time to build as much as I'd like. Nonetheless, I DO occasionally finish one! I'll be posting a few that I just removed from storage after a few life changes and moves. While finished kits when they went into storage, a few small parts are MIA, but will be replaced as I come across them. Top radiator hose has escaped this one...
steveracer Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Cool, we all have limited time and too many models. I built the same kit and yours looks nice - feel comfort in that darn hood....mine has the same weird warp. I started with a molded in blue one and painted it orange. Tough job. So you are a lurker...with over a thousand posts. And your name sounds familiar... What else you got?

Got a few more here in the "Under Glass" section, but this one is one of my favorites. There's something satisfying in the simplicity of these Monogram kits; the way they come alive with detail painting is just cool to me. I think the next one I build, I will scratch up some larger diameter exhaust pipes, Monogram's pipes all look a bit skinny. (1/24 kits) I think they all come with a wonky hood. Is your build on here somewhere?
Kromolly Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Really nice build and I love the stance. I can relate to life changes, moves, etc. 25 years away from the hobby myself. I'm hoping to get a few done before spring.
Classicgas Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Nice. 12 hours ago, steveracer said: Cool, we all have limited time and too many models. doorsovdoon Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I love the underside detail, and the engine bay is superbly done, very nice. Interior looks very clean too. Nice!
espo Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Another great looking build. I like your clean style on the trim and details.

I think the Monogram builds up nicer; as seen by your photos.

Bills72sj Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 (edited) Very nice RR. Your distributor is the best I have ever seen. May I suggest one more detail? The rubber strips on the front bumper. Edited February 7, 2021 by Bills72sj added photo
