Starliner Kustoms Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 (edited) This is my most recent creation that was done for a 24 hour build off. Thankfully it kinda kick started my building again. I found it was a very nice kit to put together and I had a lot of fun building it. I basically built it right out of the box with the exception of the M&H tire decals which I got on line. I also opened the headers as they were solid at the flange. The color is Testors Purple-licous over white Tamiya primer. The only thing that annoyed me is they didn't give proper wheel backs for the mags. I ended up using the stock wheel backs to give it a realistic look otherwise it just looked like a car with no brakes. LOL! Anyway, enough babbling and on with the pics. doorsovdoon Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 ooh yes, that's a fine looking machine! I can almost hear that engine just looking at it, lol. Very clean build, I like it a lot!
TransAmMike Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Yep, I agree with the others, very nice Bernie?
Tom Geiger Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Very nice! I look forward to the next 24 Hr Build!
bisc63 Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Nice build; love the stance and attitude of this car.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Very nice! That Purplicious is a really nice color! I'm pretty sure I would never be able to complete a 24 hr. build, let alone have it come out as fantastic as yours.

If not, finish it after and Hooray! Believe me, I felt the same way when I 1st tried it. Mistakes will be made etc but, you learn a lot. Plus you meet a lot of really cool people from around the globe. I encourage anyone to try it.
Modlbldr Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Beautiful job Bernie. To do that in 24 hrs is amazing. Much better detail than my 24 hr build. But I had fun too. Later-
Spottedlaurel Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Very nice, I'd be more than happy than that after a few weeks/months of effort, let alone 24 hours.......
Speedpro Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Amazing! I couldn't do the body work and primer in 24 hrs!!
Hmann68 Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 Wow that’s nice! That’s what I call a productive 24 hours ?
