Boy that Rustoleum Crystal Clear Acrylic Lacquer really looks like a nice clear, I can't wait for the warm weather to get here in Michigan so I can try it! What's the thinner blend that you used, I've seen a few different formulas for good acrylic thinner?

The clear sprays on really thin so use with caution as it will sag if sprayed on a vertical surface. Just a warning.

Bummer about the decals, Mike. I had a problem with my '66 Shelby Mustang stripes as well. I just couldn't get the hood and trunk stripes to lay down right, and then they ripped, so I just put on the GT 350 rocker stripes and called it good, lol.

Same thing happened to me..

I actually did fine with the hood, trunk and roof stripes. I thought I was gonna get them on straight without measuring, yeah right!! All were crooked, I'll know better next time hopefully.

Any way, only problem with not putting them on, it won't be a 350H.

Thanks Robert. Very nice car but with 350R front valence and wheels. Also for some reason it looks like it has a roll bar.  I have a 2d kit and its kinda the way I want to build it. It's why I was asking in the Wanted section if anyone had an R valence. I don't need to buy a whole 350R kit, 2 of these models is plenty enough for me LOL!!

By the way where in TN are you located?

PM sent. Sorry, don't have any R valances. Yeah that car is highly modded, but if the story is correct its an original under all that. I've never been a big fan of the Lemans stripes so I look for cars without them.
