dragstueck Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 (edited) Hello everybody, my IH CO4070 Car Transporter is ready. The Truck is an ERTL Kit. The transporter was built from 2 Revell trailers I built 6 IH Scouts as a load. A whole family. 3x ERTL Scout II, 1x AMT Scout SSII, 1x modified First Gear Diecast Scout Terra and a Scout Pickup from an ERTL Scout. You can find pictures of the individual scouts here: Edited February 22, 2021 by dragstueck 1

Michael F Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Very cool rig !! The cabover and trailer looks great! The blue and white Scout in the middle of the top row is my favorite, because of the nice wheels on it. Sehr, sehr geil !!!! Grüße vom Niederrhein
1959scudetto Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Fantastic Jürgen, as always: excellent transporter conversion and this colorful load !!!!
doorsovdoon Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Absolutely amazing work! The International cabover is such a great looking rig, especially with that load on the back looking equally a stunning. I have to say, this is one of my favourite big rig builds I've seen so far, I love everything about this. Very very nice work, Juergen!?
vincen47 Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 (edited) Those Transtars look good no matter how you build them. This one looks great as a car carrier. The cabover height gives you enough room for a 4x4 to sit on the deck behind it. Top notch work, and an impressive display. Even better, a car carrier with a stinger hitch set up. Couldn’t think of a better truck to haul those IH vehicles. Edited February 22, 2021 by vincen47
Goose1957 Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 AAARRRRRGGGGHHHH! You beat me to it! I was working on the same thing. Only, I'm still in the gathering of kits phase. Wow, that looks amazing! Great job on this build. I love the window stickers. Beautiful. Now, I don't know if I'm motivated to get my build going, or depressed someone else was thinking the same way as me, but beat me to it. I'm glad you finished yours, I'll probably take 5 years to finish mine, lol. Jeff
kilrathy10 Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 (edited) Good job, Man... I love car haulers, and this is a very nice example... Very creative and very nice work on all those Scouts.... Edited February 24, 2021 by kilrathy10
Doug 1061 Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 That is too cool. And to do all that in 2 months is very impressive. Great job all around.
Mopar - D Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Awesome build! Looks like if you wanted to you could get one more Scout on the upper deck.
leafsprings Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Great theme and combo set up. A time capsule to the late 70's as a batch of factory fresh scouts heads towards an IH dealership.
Jim B Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 Really great job! And in only 2 months. Would have taken me 2 years. Excellent work.
TECHMAN Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 ??? WOW!!! I would have been lucky to get the truck together (with that paint job) in two months.... VERY NICE!!!! DJ
Kromolly Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Very nice work, and what an accomplishment! Awesome display piece.
