Oldcarfan27 Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Looks like brand new!! Or at least what they looked like soon after. Well done weathering, very believable.
peteski Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Very well done! Both, the model and the photography.
kruleworld Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 to quote Tavarish "Sometimes One man's trash... ...is just trash" awesome beater. weathering is spot on and accurate for a Pacer.
David G. Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Nicely Done! Very convincing rust effects, what did you use to achieve the bumpy texture? David G.
Tom Geiger Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I like it! Typical 70s junker! With the cult following on Pacers today, a real one would need to be restored!
Scalper Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Nice looking old Pacer nice weathering. very well done
1972coronet Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 The weathering and rust are outstanding ( resembles a 5 year old California beach car ! ) , but perhaps it's the red/white/blue colour scheme that's most attractive to me ! It's as if the emissions-laden-gas-hog-era didn't happen , and this is a (phantom) 1978 Super Stock Pacer ; a massaged 401 under that massive bonnet .

doorsovdoon Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 wow, I love it! Fair play, mate, you do some amazing weathering. A couple of the shots look like a real car. Awesome work, very nice.
mchook Posted February 26, 2021 Author Posted February 26, 2021 Thanks for all the great comments. On 2/25/2021 at 6:03 AM, David G. said: Nicely Done! Spottedlaurel Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 You've captured so much character on this build, looks really good.
espo Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Your scale derelict builds always look so realistic. The Red White and Blue paint job along with the Pacer X side trim hints that this might have had a very interesting life at one time.
