DumpyDan Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 I started last year. I bought at a model show a 1962 Johan Chrysler 300 in a box missing the rear bumper, engine and roof cut off and gone. At the same show I picked up a 56 Chrysler 300 body only. So for $11 I can up with this, oh and the wheels were $20. Was a blast to build. 1
BeakDoc Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 Excellent work; especially the patina. Those wheels are sharp, too. I would love to see a closer shot of the interior- looks like something interesting going on in there, pattern-wise.
espo Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Great job joining the roof and Body and make it look like factory. The finish looks like a sad ending for a one time great looking Show Car. Great job on the weathered looking finish.

As far as the interior goes, when I was in England found these at the pound store, they are stickers for your finger nails in wild designs, should find them at a dollar store.
Koellefornia Kid Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Kool! The ´56 roof looks great on the ´62! Great work on the patina and the interior, too!
Kah puts Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Interesting very interesting, great imagination, well done Dan.
