I'm building the amt 1950 Chevy truck to memic my full scale 1949 Chevy truck.  I need a set of bucket seats that will fit the truck.  Anyone ever do this that could steer me in the right direction to what I would need to buy?

Which type of bucket seats are in your '49?

I have full leathers seats out of a 2012 Ford Focus Platinum

post a photo of the seats and we all can brainstorm as to what kit seats would look appropriate.

It can be a challenge. I've had issues getting seats to fit in a vintage pickup kit due to the width... plus the thicknesses of the cab and interior plastic.  Where a seat would fit in 1:1, sometimes that doesn't translate into 1:25 scale!

Here's a pic of the seats in my 49.  At this point I think I'd be satisfied with any bucket seats that would fit.

These are from the Revell 2010 Mustang  GT500. I'd knock the headrests off and your good to go. I'm sorry these are not available to trade.

Gives me an idea of what to look for.  What is the width and height of one seat?

Custom seats from AMT 57 Ford: 20.5mm W x 31mm H x 31mm D.

Could file down the headrest and reshape as needed.

The problem with most buckets is that they may be reclined too much to fit a small cab. They may have to be slit and modified to a more upright position?

These are from a '91 Thunderbird SC. They fit pretty well in this interior. Even with a set of speakers behind them. They may work in the '50 Chevy. Just cut the headrests off.

You're welcome Bob! Don't know why this didn't occur to me earlier since you mentioned your seats are from a Focus. But, Revell did a Focus several years ago. If I'm not mistaken, it also came with custom bucket seats. Chances are, someone built one and has the stock seats kicking around.
