Looks like an interesting project.

Do you plan to use the molded body color or paint?

I had some troubles with this one. Interference between the tub and windshield/cowl for one. I also wound up separating the subframe from the floor pan and installing them separately. Good luck with it.

I will be painting it in Model Master metallic blue with white strips. Have the body work and sanding done just have to prime. I did the interior and engine/subframe some time ago and on test fit found that subframe and floor are best separated.

Finely have all the primer done will wait for a few days before sanding and final coat

Looking good so far.... I have that same kit and I plan on using the tunnel ram intake from the '66 Nova kit.... Maybe even use the L-88 hood and Cragars from the MP Camaro kit.....

Managed to get strips on had a few problems but not to bad, will let it sit and dry. Some small touch ups here and there then clear coat

Thank you, the clear is Alclad gloss coat I wet sand then polish with Novus

Great color choice and excellent paintwork, the stripe decals are the frosting on the cake.
