Starting my first WIP on this fórum with this Fujimi Ferrari.

Although it's a small car, the kit has 237 parts.

Started building the parts of the engine, chassis and axles.

Then primed and painted with auto base coat.

Metallic parts were first painted black then metal.

This engine must have about 20 pieces to it.

That's all for today!?

Awesome! ... I will definitely be following this since I have the same model only it’s a cabriolet and it’s the enthusiast series. Looking to build it in the not too distant future.

Oh, very cool! I'm definitely watching this one. I love the little Dino.

I've made three attempts to buy this kit, including bring straight-up ripped off by an ebay seller, but so far I haven't landed one. Currently have one on back-order at HobbyLink Japan, so fingers crossed.

Let's see how this kit builds. Never built a Fujimi before.

I really like the old Ferraris.

Test fit a lot with this kit. Very problematic fit on some assemblies.

Good luck!

Yes. I heard there are some fit issues. Thanks for the heads up!

Sanded the mold lines

This one was uglyIMG_20210327_110201.jpg.f55c9a83dda6bd3b6a79ed59fe03ada4.jpg

Got it off

IMG_20210327_112304.thumb.jpg.3003b73606871633a8c7fdc882f21818.jpg

All the covers fit nicely. The whole body was sanded down to 1000 grit. I find this way best for primer anchoring.

Tricky part. Stick it and covered the gap with superglue.

I love the way this primer goes on.

Still some sanding to do. Stubborn mold lines. Primer reveals everything.

But that's OK. Better see these lines now than after the paint.?
