ATHU Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Hello guys. Been busy at work and haven't been building much the last couple of months. But yesterday I was finally able to sit down at the bench finishing this Galaxie 48 Chevy.. It's the old issue of the kit without the "woody" parts but with the PE metal transfers for the chrome trim(which caused me a lot of trouble....) I used the lowrider parts for the suspension The color combo is Lake Como Blue metallic/Dove Gray metallic. Hope you like it and thanks for watching. 3
'70 Grande Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Those colors are amazing together... a really nice build!
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Looks real good. Excellent color choice. I'd like another one, but can't afford the price.
thomascoffey1959@gmail.com Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 OUTSTANDING ! color combination reminds me of the Georgia USA highway patrol/state police.
peekay Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Beautiful, perhaps the best build I've seen of this kit.
carrucha Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Very sharp. Nice work applying the chrome side trim. When I built mine the chrome would not stick so I had to glue it with CA glue.
Plowboy Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 That is some excellent work Anders! I agree with Lee that the full scale didn't look that nice!
Dragonhawk1066 Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 What a nice, clean, beautiful build!! I love the color choices, and a great paint job to boot!!
Nxr Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Wow this reminds me of the movie Bronx tale, very nice one of my favorite
doorsovdoon Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Beautiful looking build, stunning colours and very clean work. Nice.
papajohn97 Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Nice job! Perfect period correct two-tone color selection. I like that you omitted the beauty rings on the wheels, I think they gave this Galaxie model more of that ‘toy look’ to my eye when they’re included.
