iamsuperdan Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 So I know a few people here have purchased the "Power W 2500" resin kit from A&N Model Trucks. Myself included. This is a highly detailed kit, especially when you purchase the upgraded front suspension add-on, or the 6.4L Hemi V8 add-on. Although the instructions are highly detailed, you're left to your own devices when it comes to the colours used, and what the truck "should" look like. So to help, I took these. Back in November, I factory ordered a new 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition for one of my clients. Ultra-rare truck, especially in Anvil Grey. The truck just arrived, and I figured I would document this one, mainly to help with my build of the A&N kit. Interesting note: the A&N kit represents a truck with bucket seats. Until this 75th Anniversary Edition was released, you could not get bucket seats in a Power Wagon at all. Anyway, on with the pics. Exterior Shots: This particular truck is Anvil Grey in colour. The rockers are Diamond Black Metallic. Door handles and the tailgate handle are body coloured. All other exterior trim and ornamentation is blacked out. THe front "RAM" logo is a matte metallic grey. The front grille on this Anniversary Edition is different. It has the vertical slats, where the standard truck has a honeycomb mesh, as depicted in the A&N kit. This truck also has the new-for-2021 Power Wagon graphics. The large graphics that appear vertically on the truck box are no more. This truck also forgoes the black graphics on the hood.
iamsuperdan Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 Wheels, suspension, underneath. Almost everything under this truck is either black or aluminum in colour. The shocks are Bilstein, so are the usual blue and yellow. All wheel wells have black plastic liners, so no paint is visible. Wheels on this model are new for 2021, and are beadlocks. I think the kit wheels could be easily modified to match this look if so desired. The spare is not an alloy wheel. I haven't actually checked the kit to see what it came with for a spare. Just about every bolt underneath is silver in colour. All of the parts ID stickers are white, except for the one on the front track bar (or whatever that is), which is pink. On to the pics Driver side front Driver side rear Passenger side rear Chassis pics taken from passenger side.

iamsuperdan Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 Interior Front As I mentioned, this truck is the only Power Wagon to get bucket seats in the front. All others will have a 40/20/40 bench, with a plastic tray thing on the center hump. These Anniversary Power Wagons also have the push button 4WD selector, where all other PWs have the floor mounted shifter. The leather on these is two tone, with a contrasting piping colour. Fun fact: it's the same soft leather used in the Ram Limiteds and Longhorns. The large PW logos that normally appear o nthe seats are gone, and replaced with the 75th logo in the upper center. The gloss black trim is actually a carbon fibre look. Driver side front: Passenger side front
iamsuperdan Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 And that's about it. If there's anything specific I missed that you want to see, let me know. I'll have this truck here until the end of the week. Keep in mind, I do not have access to a hoist, so I'm not lifting it in the air or taking the wheels off for pics.
iamsuperdan Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 Something else... The A&N kit depicts a truck with Ram Boxes. Here's what those look like, as seen on a 2021 Ram 2500 Laramie I delivered to a client last week.
iamsuperdan Posted April 12, 2021 Author Posted April 12, 2021 It's a little more blue when in the sun. Customer finally picked it up today.
martinfan5 Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 (edited) You can get a bottle of CJD Anvil Gray Paint from Scalefinishes. Edited April 14, 2021 by martinfan5
iamsuperdan Posted April 14, 2021 Author Posted April 14, 2021 Good to know! I might pick up some of that, as I thinking I'll end up building my kit in these colours. There is a Tamiya paint that is similar. Grey with a hint of blue in it. Will have to do a spoon test before I start spraying the kit itself.
JGrey Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Not sure if I'm supposed to say, I've heard Jeremy of Clearly Scale is making or has made some upgrade parts for that AN Ram model kit.
