Tiger89 Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Built from the early 90s AMT/Ertl release, and it has just come out again in a collectable tin box. Considering this dates back to the mid-60s, it goes together very well with no problems. I remember building it with the Chrysler Hemi and twin blowers over 50 years ago.
bisc63 Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Nicely done. I'm still blown away every time I look at these cars; how far ahead the styling was. Compare to anything else from 1953, the others look so old...
David G. Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Great color combination, good solid looking build. I first built mine about forty years ago and did a nostalgia build a couple of years back. Both times it was the full drag Miss Deal kit. Both times I built it stock. David G.
cobraman Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Nicely done ! I always used the chop top when I built that kit. Silly me !
TransAmMike Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 Very nice David. ? Those were really neat cars.
Kromolly Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 Very nice, looks great in the shiny red. Such a cool car... I need to get one of these.
Tiger89 Posted April 10, 2021 Author Posted April 10, 2021 Thanks, everyone. I like building some of these kits I tackled as a kid over 50 years ago. Tom Daniel Paddy Wagon, Tijuana Taxi, AMT '66 Mustang, Myers Manx, and the '65 Chevelle wagon are some of the kits I've redone in the past three years.
thatz4u Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 very nice, I used to drive a 55 , right after high school..
