Make the road trip to the South Louisville Antique & Toy Mall....about a 90 minute drive from Columbia.  Not a bunch of models, but such a wide selection of various items I've never left empty handed.

A few good places in Lexington where my son lives.

A side note. I never spent much time in KY but since my son moved there I have found it a very nice place.......kinda a flat West Virginia!!!!!

We are doing a car show next weekend in Somerset KY.

Thanks Guys!!!  Would be at the car show if we were gonna be there, but won't be moved in until June 2nd....  Had found some different "outlets" in Somerset area, plus, Lake Cumberland Speedway!!!

If you ever find yourself in Louisville check out Scale Reproductions.  A fantastic hobby store in the traditional sense that has been my go to place for 30+ years.  If you do go tell store owner Brian I sent you.

And thank you Mr. Cook...  Have a brother-in-law in Louisville, so expect to make a few trips that direction,  will look for the place.

If you pass near Elizabethtown, search out the Hobby Station; a big part of my stash came from there when I got back into the hobby some years back. Lots to see, and if you are a model train nut, you won't want to leave! The owner is big into trains, but has always carried a nice inventory of model kits. I used to make a weekly pilgrimage there. Very well stocked actual hobby store, check 'em out on Facebook for directions. (Easy to find) Enjoy!

Thanks Rusty!!!  I vaguely remember stopping there...  back in a small "strip-mall" type of a building right off one of the main roads????  Several years back on one of the trips from Columbia up to Louisville....   Will check in there, for sure!!!

Still in that area, but has moved across the road from the strip mall you remember. Just check his facebook page for nice directions.
