Zippi Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 (edited) I had been going to the Dollar Tree buying the small red dixie cups for a buck and thought that was a good deal. I would cut them down about half way and they worked fine. This morning the wife ask me if I could use these medicine cups for anything out in the garage. I think they came with the cough syrup my wife uses and boy were those the right size to mix paint in and even has the measuring lines on the side. Edited April 25, 2021 by Zippi
Snake45 Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 If you don't mind my asking, what's with the *Asterisks* on all your thread titles?

Just out of habbit I guess. I've always used the Asterisks on other forums I'm on and it just makes it easier for me to find my post. Edited April 25, 2021 by Zippi
Kromolly Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Great idea on the mixing cups. That's a "Why didn't I think of that?" moment.
niteowl7710 Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 (edited) Go on Amazon and look up "Graduated Mixing Cups", you can buy them by the gross. I got 400 2oz ones for like $11. Another good solution for mixing small quantities is tattoo ink cups, those come by the thousand count again for about $10-15. Edited April 26, 2021 by niteowl7710
Rakentaja Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 (edited) I have used medicine cups for many years. They are cheap and they have also a lid. Edited April 26, 2021 by Rakentaja
Zippi Posted April 26, 2021 Author Posted April 26, 2021 Looks like there are a lot of good deals and idea's out there for measuring/mixing cups. I didn't have to go out and buy mine so I'm a happy camper.
Rick L Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 My honey drinks water like a camel and I save the bottle caps for small brush jobs to mix paint in.
