maltsr Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 This has been slowly progressing in the background over the last few months, it's a 1/24 Monogram 1932 Cadillac V16 Dual Cowl Phaeton. Painted with Tamiya Brilliant Orange over Red Brown.
Bainford Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Gorgeous Caddy. The dual cowl feature was an interesting design. Your colour choices really make this old classic pop. Nice work all around. I've been thinking about tackling a couple old Monogram and JoHan classics. They always look so good built up.
Kodiak Island Modeler Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Your skill in construction and color choice add to the already high level of elegance of this classic Cadillac.
robertw Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Very nicely done. I'm always pleased to see when someone chooses to build one of these golden age luxury autos. I finished the '37 Cord last year, and have one of these kits in the stash for a future build. Your choice of colours has really made this one stand out.
kruleworld Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 odd color choice, but you made it work. looks fabulous.
larman Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Excellent job! With those colors, it reminds me of the old "'31 Doozie" Hot Wheels car.
papajohn97 Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Beautiful build of a magnificent car! I can see this one parked on the greens at Pebble Beach. Well done!
