Tim Boyd in Dec. 1994 about restoring a Johan 1963 Chrysler 300. From the time I read it I read it, I started looking for a 63or 64 300, Got one finally in May, 2021, the car is now 58 years old. Here we go, first photos as as found, before swim in Purple Pond....

Little update on this one...

Interior finished, body in primer, grille detailed, & engine started....Engine is from AMT 49 Merc kit, Trans is from the Johan kit, as it was an automatic.....

updating this one Tom, the Johan chassis wheelbase is approx. 2 or 3 scale inches longer than the Plymouth, which means it won't work in this case...
