michelle Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 i made this custom out of several different mustang parts i got in a mustang parts collection and some parts from my various parts boxs the body/frontclip/backclip are a revell 68 mustang and the interior pan is from a amt/ertl or mpc 71-73 mustang the hood is from either a 66 or 67 mustang the bumpers are from a mid 60's mustang not sure what year the chassis i had to cut apart and add a piece of styrene to to make it a bit longer the grill is the bullitt mustang grille i got from brutalform i added a mustang grille logo i found in the parts to it the seats ,stearing wheel ,spare tire case ,extra gauage cluster ,shifter,tires and rims, radiator,battery,firewall,hood tachometer and front and back windshields and the side exhaust ports/rocker panels all came from my various parts boxes the engine came from a revell 76 gran torino parts car i removed a section of the roof and the wing windows on either side of the windshield posts the rear deck spoiler is actually a repurposed 69 cougar chin spoiler and the hood scoop is also from a 69 cougar i added the stripes to the hood and area in front of windshield below the wipers mainly to hide the wierd discoloration the scoop got even though i put 3 coats of white primer on it and 3 coats of the color i painted the rest of the car body with the yellow of the plastic the part was molded in still came through i had a simular issue with some spots on the seats i painted the body rust-oleum 2x satin aqua with a semi gloss clear coat and the interior i painted rust-oleum 2x satin oasis blue and the spare tire case i painted rust-oleum 2x ultimate ultra matte evening navy 1
