What's the best 1966 Batmobile kit?  The Deluxe kit has the photoetch parts and options for the V8 and the Jet Turbine engine.  However the other kit has resin figures that look like Adam West and Burt Ward.

Is there another 1966 Batmobile with the PE, Jet Turbine engine and the newer resin figures or are these the only 2 options?

There are basically just two kits: the glue kit and the pre-painted snap kit. There may be some package shuffling as to whether you get the figures, as my snap kit has them but my glue kit does not. Any boxing of the glue kit should have the engine options. The best deal I found was both kits packaged together. They really are nice, the snapper has a very nice finish, just typical curbside chassis, but otherwise quite accurate.

I built the Polar Lights snap kit about ten years ago and I was quite pleased with it.

I thought I posted a WIP thread on this group back then but it looks like I didn't. If so, it's the only place I didn't. I have all the text and images in various locations, I should probably just create one here at MCM.

Anyway, if you're interested in seeing a short WIP on the Polar Lights snap kit, here is a link to my personal web page

Hope that helps inform your decision.

I got the Polar Lights Build 2gether dual kit a couple of years ago. It includes the pre-painted snap version and the glue version. I don't think it came with photoetch and unfortunately no figures☹️. I've only built the snap kit so far, but it's a really nice piece and looks great to me.

Has anyone ever compared one of these Batmobiles to the Revell Lincoln Futura to see how well the basic dimensions match? Might be interesting...

Here's a pic I took years ago of a junk box Futura beside a resin prototype snap Batmobile (identical to the plastic version).
