Fixing glue on clear parts

Is there a way to fix glue on clear parts?

Depends on how bad the glue is.  Light foul-ups can be sanded out, but then you will need to polish the windshield the same as if it were a show quality paint job. Takes time and patience and a deft hand so as not to crack the more brittle windshield plastic.

Various brands of progressive polishes.  I use either Novus 1,2, and 3 or Tamiya coarse, fine, and finish.  Easy to apply in their order of grit ending with the finest.

If you have a bad spot and it melted into the glass it’s best to get a new glass.
