carbuilder1950 Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 I've had a lot of favorite car body styles over the years, but wagons have always been a staple that I love to build periodically. This wagon is a resin kit from R&R Vacuum Craft. One of their nicer kits in my opinion. Not a lot of clean up. I knife opened the hood and hinged it, and then found out a Lindberg 1964 Plymouth was a nice donor kit for the chassis, engine and a few other essentials. I made the inside fender wells and adapted a firewall and radiator assembly from the same '64 Plymouth. Taping the body for paint and doing the foil work is where i really spent my time. Thanks for looking. Much appreciated. 2
Tom Geiger Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 (edited) Wow! That is pretty! The slant six is over the top! I have one of those wagons tucked away! Edited June 30, 2021 by Tom Geiger
bisc63 Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 What a nice looking kit! Great colors and under-hood detailing. Well done!
alan barton Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 What a beautiful wagon! I'm a big fan also, having spent most of my childhood in the back of one! That paintjob took my breathe away, absolutely incredible and the foil looks magnificent. Cheers Alan
espo Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 What a beauty, I love the paint scheme it's so MoPar. Great stance and the leaning tower of power looks perfect here. I have had two wagons in my life back when they cheap and no one really wanted a second hand wagon. Now I kick myself for ever letting either one of them go.
Zippi Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 What a nice looking wagon. Well done. I also like the yellow wagon in the case.
RSchnell Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Nice longroof! Perfect color combination in my opinion........
