Volkswagen Beetle Maisto

An abandoned toy from my son, buried in a dusty corner of the barn for more than a decade.
I decided to restore it, as a restarting project. I managed to recover most of the parts, only the right head lamp went missing.
So I made an attempt to recreate it.
This was an 1/24 Maisto diecast. I stripped the red paint, and decided to make the beetle my father owned many years ago.
In that car from 1975, he also gave me my first driving lessons.
I presented it to him as a fathers-day gift.
The blue paint is done with Motip automotive spray can, chrome with a pen.
The seats are painted with Revell acrylics.
Not a masterpiece but I'm satisfied with the result.
