Tom99 Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 This 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 convertible, is a restored AMT original annual kit, that I picked up at a swap meet. It's painted 1958 Ford, Seaspray Green & Colonial White.
Bainford Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 Wow. I can't remember the last time I've seen one of these, but it's been a very long time. Nice work. The colours work perfectly. Cool.
espo Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 Beautiful looking finish. These were very well done curb side models with well proportioned bodies and trim. Detailed the way you have done here they look as good as anything today, just a little less chassis and engine details is all.
TarheelRick Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Not one of my favorite Fords. That being said you have done an excellent job bringing this one back to life. Really like the color combination. And yes, if it were to be offered again I would probably break my moratorium on buying new kits. Thanks for sharing it.
Jim B Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Nice looking Ford. Well done. Don't think I've ever seen one of these before.
doorsovdoon Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Stunning, and beautiful period colours too. Very nice.
Bucky Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Awesome Ford! I really like the color combination. This is one of those kits that remains on my wish list.
