Just saw a post on Facebook - #209 is at the printer and will ship shortly.

It is now August 20 and I have not seen #209. Has anyone else received their copy?

From the MCM Facebook page dated July 19, 2021;

Hi friends of MCM,
The wait is over! Issue #209 is at the printers and will be mailed out shortly! We're pretty proud of it - it's our best issue yet, in my not so humble opinion! Enjoy the new issue and thanks for your patience and your support of MCM as always!
Best regards,

It's good news that they are at the Post Office. I am not a subscriber, nor do I plan to become one, but when my favorite mail-order LHS gets them in they will be selling me a couple of kits as well as MCM.

Well, it's August 23rd and still no magazine What's up?

The USPS will take 1 to 3 weeks to deliver magazines. With our we find it is usually 1 to 2 weeks for the majority of ours to make it. The USPS has given magazine publishers a new headache. If addresses are not perfect they may not deliver it. Example would be if you said your address was Route 30 that is not going to fly with the USPS with periodicals. They want if its a state, county or township route designation.

Straight from the USPS website..   once the magazine is placed in their hands, just wait and pray!

This class of mail along with sales flyers etc just sit in bins at your local post office. Once the carriers have sorted their daily mail, if they have time, they grab some of this.

My experience is that they get to it on Saturday. We seem to get flyers, junk mail and magazines then.

See here, there is no deadline!

Maybe we should all show up at the printers next time with signs. Leave the snail mail middleman out of the equation. LOL Gary
