I was at a graduation party today, and it turns out that the parents own a celebrity photo company, and they have a replica of the Supernatural 1967 Chevrolet Impala hardtop.  They take a car on the Comic-Con circuit, and have been all over the US.  The owners, Kim & Jim LeMay, were kind enough to let me photograph the car; and to post photos of it here.

The car was a "barn find" in Minnesota, and has 49,000 original miles on the odometer.  Kim told me that this car was third in line at the car crusher when they purchased it.  Jim did a full off frame restoration, and I have to say that the car is absolutely gorgeous!  He did tell me that he did replace the front drum brakes with disks, and it has an electronic ignition.  No remember, this is NOT one of the cars used in the filming, and it is a replica of the car as it appears in the first three seasons of the show.  Never having seen the show myself, I cannot confirm or deny this; but I figured that you guys would enjoy seeing the car.  If you have any additional questions, let me know, and I will see if I can get the answers for you.

Fun fact! This car was actually used as a funeral service car in Minnesota before it was stored.

Sure gives a new meaning to "junk in the trunk", doesn't it. ?

Great pictures, thanks for posting.  Many cars went to the crusher before their time..

You're welcome.  I hope the help someone who wants to build a model.

Yes, some did go to the crusher too early.
