Dave Van Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 (edited) This build was inspired by the movie Black Dog......a GREAT B movie. DO NOT bother telling me I used the wrong Pete to build my model. When I was looking at what I needed to build a correct Black Dog Pete and how expensive it would be.....I went with the under $20 Revell Monogram kit....which is a decent kit BTW. Most people will never know!!! I made all the decals used. Tags too. The kit was built box stock other than the 'wings' added to the sleeper and the treadplate that a big fight scene, at speed, takes place.....I had to add them. Otherwise Tamiya paints and decals I made myself. I want to build the raggy trailer to go with it.....someday!! Thanks Edited July 29, 2021 by Dave Van
Doug 1061 Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Looks great. You're right, these Revell snap trucks do build up well. 1
Jim B Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Nice looking 359. Very well done. I think I saw that movie. Wasn't Patrick Swayze in it? 1
spencer1984 Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Nicely done! I've wanted to build a replica of this rig, but like you said it gets expensive real quick. 1

My wife met Randy a few times. His mom was in a rest home my wife worked at. A truly nice guy who always talked to my wife and was polite. thx
