Good luck with that build. I started one in the '70s and only finished it up a couple years ago. It was a major PITA straightening the roof, getting the front end to fit, and trying to fix that gadawful, mickey mouse chassis into something that resembles something that might have actually worked on a real car. Even after all that work, it has noticeable shape problems in the roof C-pillars. I can say I wrestled one to the ground, but I'll never do another one. I'd rather try to graft the front and rear ends onto a Revell '67 body, if that could be made to work.

I used the Monogram Chevelle's back end and the Revell El Camino's front end on this one.

The tail panel and bumper have to be narrowed slightly.

Atlantis -

Got to talk with Jim Keeler for a little bit he is (as one might expect), very excited about the upcoming projects.

Jim told me that all of the Parts Pack "Keeler's Kustoms" based kits will come with two COMPLETE engines, as well as a foot spool (see in the first picture) of wiring for said engine detailing.

The following pictures are how the releases are more or less going to occur with the first three being locked in, in that order.

Jim also did a very humorous humble brag about lathing the parts for the window tray seen in the photo below.

It was great to see exciting products. Mr Keeler was great to talk to. He said he was 80 years old but did not look it. Very nice to see a modeler involved in the products. Atlantis will go along way with Mr Keeler involved. I really like the jungle Jim cars coming out. And that mobius stand was great also. Loved the Chevy gasser! And Ed Sexton from revell was there! Did not get a chance to talk to him but saw him there. Great job niteowl7710 on the nationals coverage.

Any rumors on when the `67 Vette, `81 (79???) Camaro, or 442 will be released?

I saw the `67`s box art. Any previews of the other two? Im interested to see the decal color and extra parts options.

The '71 Olds 442 hardtop will be out until 2022.

Revell's European 'site has the '81 Camro Z/28, '66 Malibu SS, and '37 Ford Pickup listed for 9/2021 release, but I would expect that means in Europe, not the U.S. Add a few months until they are seen stateside: https://www.revell.de/en/products/new-products/novelties-09-2021/1981-z-28-camaro.html

Uh OH.

I am not seeing references to this or the `67 Corvette Coupe on their site any more. I wonder if they will really happen?

Was the '67 Corvette Coupe ever shown on the revell.de website?

I wouldn't put much stock into what's not shown on either of Revell's websites (U.S. nor German) at this point. Revell isn't going to have Ed Sexton going out in public, showing off future kits if they don't have legitimate plans to release what they've shown. With box art already completed, I would just remain patient until they show up.

The Ford Bronco and buggy kit isn't even shown on the U.S. website an it's already in peoples' hands stateside. Oddly, the F&F Ford Lightning is, so, who knows what the rhyme or reason is behind what is uploaded and shown on their website.

Yeah, their websites aren't very accurate for either the EU or US side as far as current kits and upcoming releases.. they don't seem to put much effort into it.   They still have the Porsche 918 in the Street Rods category on the US site, for example.

Anyone hear any more on this? Particularly the `81 (or `79??) Camaro and the `67 vette coupe? I am not seeing anything anywhere.

Given how badly shipping is snarled right now, my guess is that the webmasters have just stopped showing items until the kits are actually in the warehouse, ready to be shipped.

I could easily be wrong about this.

Nice build!  I'm thinking of picking up one of these.  To me, it's a gasser, so like a hot rod, lends itself to the modeler's creativity and interpretation.  Your stance turned out perfectly!  Several I've seen result in the front being too high for my taste.  Did you do anything special in that regard?  Thanks for any tips to share.
