Entex 1/8 Ford Turbine Truck Engine

Here is Entex’s 1/8th scale Ford 707 gas turbine truck engine. The kit is almost 50 years old. I purchased it on eBay about two years ago. I just finished building it this morning (8/27/2021). It does not run. And rubber belts to run the accessories broke into little pieces when touched. But still, I’m pretty happy overall with the way it turned out. And I’m happy to have the kit in my collection.

I've never even heard of this kit before. Learn something new every day!

Now, I'd like to find one. Add it to my Visible V8 and Visible Rotary engines.

Hi everyone, I just finished building this model also, and added all the wiring and hose details. There are some serious flaws that I had to correct.  First is the cracked nylon pinion gear on the motor.  I was able to have some made in brass.  If you need this gear, please contact me.
