unclescott58 Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Here is Entex’s 1/8th scale Ford 707 gas turbine truck engine. The kit is almost 50 years old. I purchased it on eBay about two years ago. I just finished building it this morning (8/27/2021). It does not run. And rubber belts to run the accessories broke into little pieces when touched. But still, I’m pretty happy overall with the way it turned out. And I’m happy to have the kit in my collection. 3 Quote
Oldcarfan27 Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 That's different. I've never even heard of this kit before. Learn something new every day! Now, I'd like to find one. Add it to my Visible V8 and Visible Rotary engines. Too Cool! Quote
the goon Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 Very nice. Never heard/seen that kit before. Mark Quote
kilrathy10 Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 That's a cool model... Unexpected, but very cool... Definitely, something you don't see every day... Awesome... Quote
pjekoo Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Hi everyone, I just finished building this model also, and added all the wiring and hose details. There are some serious flaws that I had to correct. First is the cracked nylon pinion gear on the motor. I was able to have some made in brass. If you need this gear, please contact me. Paul Quote

hct728(Bob) Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Wow, it looks like it should fire right up! Wonder what you'd use for fuel Already a nice build, the wiring makes it so real, well done! Quote
