FLHCAHZ Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 Hello All. On the bench this time is the AMT Smokey and The Bandit Trans Am. I'll get some pics up soon. I had all of the spoiler and ground effects on the body, and the front left wheel well ground effect (spoiler or what ever ya call it) popped off and is gone forever. I set sand over a trash bin, I know it landed in there, but no luck in finding it. As to today was trash pick up, I'm certain its gone for good. I'll have to get one from eBay or something. Bummer
FLHCAHZ Posted September 1, 2021 Author Posted September 1, 2021 (edited) Quick update. A forum member has the part I need. I am very grateful! Some work being done on the interior After looking at these pics, I realize that I should have sanded the seams where the seat backs attach. I may take it back apart. Bills72sj Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 I would not worry about it too much. High back seats under a low roof line would require just the right viewing angle. However, if it one of those things that will bug you every time you look at the finished model, then take care of it now.

I plan on displaying this model with out the t-tops, so I think I'll fill them. Any suggestions on what to use to fill the seams with?
