FLHCAHZ
Hello all. I have finally ditched the orange tube glue and bought an assortment of Tamiya glues from a seller on eBay. I received 3 bottles: one extra thin, one extra thin quick setting, and an a bottle with an orange label and cap. So far I have used the orange the most. It seems with the extra thin and especially with the quick setting extra thin, they flash off before I can even get the parts I'm trying to glue near each other. Are there any tips on using these glues?
Rick L
You put the parts together, then apply the glue at the joint. The glue spreads through capillary action.

bluestringer
I use Mr. Cement S, basically the same as the Tamiya. As Rick said it works great on seams by capillary action, like putting the engine halves together. On other stuff where you just need a dab of glue I use Loctite super glue gel in the squeeze bottle. It works great with the squeeze action that puts just a little on the part.
