The world mirroriest mirror chrome paint...anybody tried this?

Ran across some chrome paint while looking for something else..

Has anybody ever tried this stuff??

Pretty spendy.  They say it can be airbrushed or brushed and looks more durable than molotow.

They also boast the darkest and blackest matte black and have a mirror black that is basically a gloss black that is designed to not need a clear coat.

I spotted that too, might give it a try once I get back up to speed with an airbrush.  Then again, I've got a decent supply of Alclad, and haven't tried applying Molotow with an airbrush yet...

As Pete J. and I have said in previous posts, Alsa Easy Chrome achieves the same results, if not better. The Hobby Kit contains 2 fl.oz. of Easy Chrome and 2 fl.oz. pf urethane basecoat and costs far less than an equivalent amount of Mirror.

I see it's on a helmet, does that mean it's pretty durable? Will it stand up to handling?

Check out the website. Easy Chrome is very durable. There is a special clear topcoat which is used to seal it when applied to bumpers, rims, helmets, etc. The topcoat isn't necessary for modeling applications.
