Dominik Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Based on the new Revell Kit #07663 '56 Chevy Custom i built it in May 2020 as a Stock Version. I didn't like the wheels, the Custom stuff as showen on the Box. I really liked it stock to fill the gap between the 55 and 57 - fill the gap as long as i get the really old BelAir (with all opening doors). For a fast build (about two weeks) im happy with the result. painted out of rattle cans, used BMF for Chrome and lowered the suspension. I didn't mounted the hood ornament, i won't fit. 3
THEFATTDAWG Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 beautiful love the two tone well done
christian-w Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 I agree. Classic color combination. Nice one - for just "filling the gap" *lol*
NOBLNG Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Beautiful…one of my all time favourite cars.?
Zippi Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Nicely done. Good looking color combo and foil work. You always see more of the 55 & 57 Chevy's models and not many of the 56.
Dominik Posted September 17, 2021 Author Posted September 17, 2021 Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated.
espo Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Beautiful looking Bel Air. Nice to see this as a showroom style build. Very clean looking foil trim.
ve safari Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Very nice build, great ride height and colour combo.
disconovaman Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Good looking 56! I've really started to take a liking to these latley... 56 chevys weren't the most popular but I really don't know why because they are just as beautiful and not too much different from the other tri-fives... I kinda think they're a combination of the 55 and 57...
Dominik Posted September 19, 2021 Author Posted September 19, 2021 Thanks a lot for your nice comments. As more i look at the pictures, as more i like it ?
Toys4Don2 Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Very nice looking build. All three years are classic!
Monty Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 You've done a lot of great builds over the years, but this may be my favorite. I really like the colors you chose for this build and am impressed by the way your spray technique has them laying down perfectly. Kudos on your clean assembly work as well. Glad to see you posting here again!
