This thing is a monster at 52" long. It is setup to received a motor drive for RC right out of the box but, not doing that. First time with Photo-etch as well

Very nice work on your Gato ! They are a huge ship when complete,  the sail looks very busy and intricate details.  Nice work on the fine railings too

Love the small shop tools , I've nearly worn out my BUG doing etch

Very cool. I've long hoped Revell would scale this one down and release a  1/144 version. I mean, a 26" sub is still a nice-sized model, and more shelf-friendly! It'll be fun to follow your progress on this one; it's already coming along quite nicely. Where you going to display this beast, mantle piece?

 That's quite the build your working on! I will be watching this one for sure.  Where did you get the photo etch?
