Hi Snake! I guess it shows all active members of the "Bonneville Defense League" were missing in action... CT
Motor City
Maybe it was a subtle hint to buy a GP instead of the Bonneville?
steveracer
Here is a simple fix on the left DLO.
Motor City
Steve, How did you get the correct contour on the window opening? Is that Evergreen strip you used to recreate the drip rail? Mark
The window opening can be traced from the passenger side, and the pattern used to replace the rain gutter on the driver's side. After that is done, the excess material can be trimmed out. I did the same thing in another thread relating to the 2+2 issue of this kit.
steveracer
It was pretty simple and only about an hour at most to make the shape. I traced the passenger side window opening onto tape. Created a template. Placed the template on the driver side opening. Sprayed a dust trace coat of black primer. Removed material to create the more accurate shape. No material added. Created a rain rail from the smallest evergreen rod - which is .5mm I may rain rail the passenger side too, as it looks more accurate for depth and dimension, but we will see how lazy I can be. This will be just a box stock build, nothing fancy.
TransAmMike
Excellent work Steve, something I would never try but you sure nailed that!!?
Mark
Why not try it, on a junker body at least? You can probably do it, you just don't know you can just yet.

rrb124@sbcglobal.net
Would be so very good if the scale model body had been produced with the 421 emblems on the fenders depicting the popular and powerful 421 engine option!

rrb124@sbcglobal.net
Looking like a real 1:1 Bonneville. The wheels are perfect. 8 lug wheels are complex. Used to see these in the neighborhood when I was growing up.
